Jared Lockhurst

Founder & Head Instructor

Jared is 32 years old and played Junior A hockey for Brampton Capitals and the Wellington Dukes. He then went on to play NCAA with Brockport College in Division 3.

Fun Fact: Chosen as the Toronto Star High School goalie of the year. He also made the SUNYAC All Rookie team in his freshman year at Brockport. In Major Peewee his Brampton Battalion team won the International Quebec Peewee Tournament!

Nicholas Maria

Trainer/Shooter

Nicholas is 20 years old and plays for the Caledon Admirals in the OJHL as a defensemen.

Fun Fact: One of Nicholas’ favourite memories is winning the Big Nickel Tournament in Sudbury playing with the Toronto Marlboros. He has aspirations to play NCAA hockey!

Kyle Downey

Trainer

Kyle is 20 years old and plays for the Erie Otters in the OHL.

Fun Fact: Kyle was the first goalie drafted in the OHL in his draft class. He also was awarded the MVP in the GTHL All Stars game.

Greg White

Trainer

Greg has played goal since the age of six, competing at the A, AAA, and Junior levels. A former Team Canada roller hockey goaltender, he’s passionate about helping young goalies build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and enjoy the game.

Fun Fact: Greg represented Team Canada at the World Cup of Roller Hockey, helping his team earn a bronze medal.

Michael Tamburro

Trainer

Michael is 18 years old and currently plays Junior A hockey in the OJHL and NOJHL, competing for the Mississauga Chargers and Iroquois Falls Storm.

Fun Fact: Michael played in the OJHL Prospects Game, the U18 All-Star Game, and was selected by the Erie Otters in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection (175th overall).

Aaron Wigle

Trainer

Aaron played minor hockey in St. George and Brantford before becoming the goalie coach for the Lakehead University Women’s Hockey team. He brings years of coaching experience and is passionate about helping goalies develop in a positive, supportive environment.

Fun Fact: Aaron currently plays Senior AA with the Georgian Bay Apple Kings (IEHL) and recently posted a .899 save percentage.

Anthony Lovisa

Trainer

Anthony is 17 years old and played AAA hockey before advancing to Junior C with the Alliston Hornets. He enjoys helping young goalies build confidence, develop their skills, and have fun on the ice.

Fun Fact: Anthony was invited to the Peterborough Pete’s OHL Rookie & Development Camp following the 2024–25 season.

Grace Kelloway

Trainer

Grace is 19 years old and currently plays for the Brampton Canadettes at the U22A level while also competing for Lakehead University. She previously played U18 AA/A with the Canadettes.

Fun Fact: During her final U18 season, Grace posted a 1.44 GAA in 32 games and recorded 13 shutouts.

Max Zemp

Trainer

Max played Junior C with the Caledon Golden Hawks (PJHL) and earned Affiliate Player (AP) opportunities with the Caledon Bombers. Max continues to play in the PJHL while competing collegiately for the Humber Hawks.

Fun Fact: Max’s favourite hockey memory is winning the York Simcoe Championship with the King Rebellion during his U16 season.

Jax D’Hondt

Trainer

Jax holds a degree in Human Kinetics and studied Movement Science at the University of Windsor. He is currently a high school teacher and was the recipient of the prestigious AAA Zone Mickey Renaud Award in 2015.

Fun Fact: Jax was a fan favourite with the Essex 73’s (PJHL) and is one of the franchise’s longest-tenured goaltenders.

Owen Byers

Trainer

Owen played U16 & U18 AAA, USHS-Prep at Tabor Academy, and Junior A in the OJHL with the Aurora Tigers and Milton Menace.

Fun Fact: Owen won the Lecom Harbourcentre Cup with a shootout-winning save.

Calem York

Trainer

Calem is 24 years old and currently plays Junior A hockey for the Stouffville Spirit. He was selected by the Mississauga Steelheads in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection.

Fun Fact: Calem made his Junior A debut with the Haliburton Huskies at just 15 years old.

Ryan Zammit

Trainer

Ryan is 24 years old and grew up playing AA/AAA hockey in the GTHL. He also served as an Affiliate Player (AP) with the North York Rangers during his U18 season.

Fun Fact: Ryan is also a golf professional at the Toronto Golf Club and recently spent several months in New Zealand.

Connor Toogood

Trainer

Connor is 25 years old and currently plays Senior A hockey with the Erin Outlaws.

Fun Fact: One of Connor’s favourite hockey memories is qualifying for OFSAA with his high school team.

Macalister White

Trainer

Macalister grew up playing in Orangeville before making the jump from A to AAA with the Grey Bruce Highlanders. He later played two seasons of junior hockey in the United States.

Fun Fact: Macalister never played AA – going straight from A to AAA.

Cole DeFazio

Trainer

Cole is a recent Neumann University graduate, where he played four seasons of NCAA Division III hockey while earning a degree in Health Science. Prior to that, he played two seasons of Junior A hockey with the Oakville Blades (OJHL).

Fun Fact: Cole won the MAC Championship with Neumann University and was an OJHL All-Star and Oakville Blades MVP.

Tucker Clyne

Head Instructor

Tucker is 24 years old and played Junior hockey in the PJHL and GMHL. He has been coaching with Blue Ice Goaltending for the past three years.

Fun Fact: Tucker won Gold with Team Canada at the 2018 Ball Hockey World Junior Championships in Slovakia and was named the tournament’s Top Goaltender (MVP).

Nicholas Luviano

Trainer

Nicholas is 19 years old and played for the Caledon Bombers of the Junior B hockey league.

Fun Fact: Nicholas’ favourite hockey memory was winning his first junior hockey game in front of 3000 people in Stratford, ON.

Sarah Cation

Trainer

Sarah is 16 years old and plays U18A hockey for Mississauga.

Fun Fact: Sarah is very proud of going undefeated in the 2023-2024 hockey season.

Josh Hosein

Head Instructor

Josh is 20 years old and played AAA hockey from U10–U18 before spending two seasons in the GMHL, leading the league in save percentage both years. He is entering his fifth season coaching with Blue Ice Goaltending.

Fun Fact: Josh was named AAA Athlete of the Year with the Guelph U15 team and made three OMHA Semifinal appearances.
